We had a cute discussion about his height, and I told him about Big Dave, who's height I kept misremembering. When I finally got Dave's height right, "Eugene" went from not that impressed, since he's still taller, to rather impressed & wanting to meet him. That was a fun moment.

I remember going to a fast-food place, which features a lot in theses dreams. In this first one, things seemed to be going well.

I was in a line to get food, when I noticed the rather short person in front of the person I was behind (who might, in retrospect, have been a guard), who was ordering something, was none other than Ze! President himself. I recognized the back of his head & his voice.

I sill can remember how that moment of recognition felt.

I turned and watched him walk away with his order, awestruck, as one does, when he seemed to notice & turned back to let me meet him, which he did in every dream.

He spoke to me in Ukrainian, which I mostly didn't understand. But I got the gist of his introduction enough & we shook hands. I feel like we've shook hands several times now, because of these shockingly real dreams.

Anyway, I introduced myself back in English, not knowing enough Ukrainian to fake it. He realized, from my English & accent, that I was American, & switched to speaking English, mostly well, himself.

We chatted for a few minutes, mostly about the improvements to the country since after the war, and then he went his way to a crowded, with his people, area in the back.

Unfortunately for me, things quickly went downhill after that.

I turned back to get back in line to get my order, when I was grabbed by behind by a woman officer of some kind, who started arresting me. In a bit of a panic, I asked as well as I could, in English, of course, what I had done to get arrested.

After asking several times, already in cuffs & face nearly on the floor, she or someone finally answered that I had been recognized as someone wanted for a theft.

I quickly tried to explain that I had just gotten to Ukraine & it wasn't me, but again it took several tries.

Finally it took the president himself noticing the ruckus at the front of the fast food place & intervening to get me released. I explained again to him & all, and he agreed the other person had falsely accused me and I was let go. That was pretty much the end of that dream.

In-between each dream sequence, I often was walking between buildings outside, but always weirdly in the dark of night. There was a weird amount of stray cats, some friendly, some rather feral. My cats also somehow followed me, in this next "scene."

I first found out when several cats kept bugging me for food (or to be food maybe), when Shady-cat came out of nowhere to protect me. Later Ghanima & Midnight were also in the dream, in the rental.

Getting to the rental this time, it seemed a little more picked up & I met my roommate, a Ukrainian woman in her 30's or early 40's, with natural black hair that went out like Hermione's in the first HP movie. She was rather high-energy but fun & spoke rather good English.

It was actually rather amazing how many people spoke at least some English in the dream.

Well, I ended up at the fast food place again, which I was getting to become familiar with. In a very Groundhog Day movie way.

I remembered the 1st dream, which made me wonder if I was awake or not, because I was sure, in the dream, that I was awake (despite the Visa/Passport problem). I was determined not to have the same experience, but still get to meet Ukraine's leader, & maybe more than just meet. Maybe get to know better.

So, I stood in different places than before, but still arranged it so I got to meet Zelenskyy, again.

After the short meet & greet chat, I made sure to have my back to a wall or barrier the entire time.

After just standing around awhile, a rather noisy couple came in & the woman did look a bit like me. Instead of me getting arrested, these two did, who were the actual thieves of something that had recently happened nearby.

Take Three. Place: shared rental. I found myself unpacking & the place was looking pretty good. The woman was still pretty wild, but also fun to hang out with. I think she was the one taking me to the fast food place.

I somehow knew again the previous dreams, and knew I had to try to foil these theives. We went a different way to the fast food restaurant, and I alerted police to the man & woman, as they were running by us.

That entire ordeal over with, I made my way back to the fast-food meet-cute with President Володимир Олександрович Зеленський.

I remember, as we were chatting, two men at a table watching us intently nearby.

I recognized the larger man as someone who is often with Zelenskyy IRL, but not sure if a political or security. The other shorter man had the look of a politician.

Things went without a hitch this time, & I was invited to join the "party" of dinners with him at the back.

"Eugene" was again there, but sitting down, so he didn't appear so tall. I didn't recognize everyone, but it was really good energy. After we left the fast food place, Zelenskyy let me continue with him to continue our chat.

At some point in our long walk (he really does like to walk as much as talk, even in dreams, doesn't he?) we ended up at a place that seemed like a small carnival or festival going on, still at night. It was a good experience.

(Walking with an entourage was weird, even in a dream.)

(Ironically, I ended up at a small carnival I didn't even know about in a nearby town from me at dusk just today.)

Lastly, I remember barely waking up (or maybe still asleep) & going back to sleep thinking about what it would be like to wake up next to him. Then I dreamt of that very thing, again very realistically.

My waking up & dreaming phase was like being in 2 places at once, in 2 beds at once, 1 of which was with him, whose arm was around my waist

I was just turning toward him, he looking back at me, when I fully woke up & realized it was all dreams

PS - Between the spontaneous "date" with the married president of Ukraine dream & the in-bed dream, I had another little dream of going again to that fast-food place, & seeing they were short-staffed, jumping in to help the, mostly women, workers get done with customers.

Afterwards they gave me a job & I got to know all the Ukrainian staff. It's weird to miss people now whom I've only met in dreams. I wonder if the fast food place even exists.

Damn, were these dreams a sort of "dress rehearsal" or something? That's what they felt like, now that I'm awake.

I wouldn't want to steal anyone's heart away, which is a much worse crime than stealing some physical item.

Not that I'd expect anything. And sometimes dreams can be enough.

But I'll be reliving those dreams for awhile, especially the last half of them.

It's such a trip to have had all these dreams. I'm not sure why I had them, but I'm glad for them, since dreams are sometimes all us ordinary & boring folk get in life.

After I had these weird dreams, which I do believe was largely influenced by Pianoboy's song Love, I found myself looking up more about Dmytro Shurov, & saw pictures of he & his wife, Olya, who looks uncannily like the woman I was roommates with in the dreams.
