soccer futbol question, fam - Are any of the players competing in the UEFA Euro, and the Copa tournament, the same players? Are the teams the same?

Copa America consists of South American national teams and invited teams from North America.

Euro is European national teams.

do the winners from either ever played each other? Is one generally thought of to be is better than the other? @LiberalLibrarian

@Armchaircouch The winners of UEFA and Copa America used to play each other in a one-off. And FIFA had a tournament a year before the World Cup where all the confederation champions played each other. I don't know if it still does.

@Armchaircouch Copa America is run by whatever South America Governing Football organization is called. I think itโ€™s COMENBOL or something. And they invited CONCACAF teams ( countries) to participate in the Usual Copa America which is generally just South American countries. Euroโ€™s is simply players from European Countries. Club team does not matter. So, with Copa America also. Club team doesnโ€™t matter
Just that your from that country or have citizenship from that country you are representing.
