...not that i think he's smart to have done that, BUT, it does seem like it would be fun to huck a chair off of a roof. Like, who can land the chair the farthest away, a contest!
@Armchaircouch I chunked an office chair off the roof of the 5 story Arvest bank here years ago. My buddy worked housekeeping there overnights. The parking lot was empty. It was spectacular. 😂

@Armchaircouch If it is on fire, about to be used as a weapon, if you are disrupting a crime below, if it is a lucky chair that is part of a fun stunt, and nobody is where the chair will hit, when you are clearing the roof of furniture and the chair is meant to be disposed of.
Those are reasons I have personally thrown a chair off a roof.
