I'm all for the fact that MDOT SHA limits mowing and trimming for many reasons, all are good. But problems areas like this should still be regularly addressed.

Sometimes being a good citizen involves notifying State Highway Services that they need to clear overgrown foliage at an intersection. Trying to cross a 55MPH road from a side street is harrowing when you can't see oncoming cars. I even grabbed a map screenshot so I could highlight the area most in need of work.

Hurt my back. Yes, it's bad. No, I don't wanna talk about it.

And before you ask:

Yes, I went through the web page directly, not with any link in an e-mail. Been doing this long enough to know better. The e-mail seem legit enough, so it could be an attempt to hack access. Now it's going to be a lot harder.

Gotta love seeing a flood of e-mails that someone is trying to "recover" my FB account password. Changed, and verified 2FA configuration.

There is a downside to working on site when I am caught up with my tasks. I still have 5 hours to my work day and I'm feeling restless. No, I'm not actively seeking "busy" work. But I did clean my office.

I'm seeing more talk about fascist DA's demanding access to out-of-state medical information regarding possible abortion care. This is to remind you (and any providers) that Maryland recently enacted 2 laws to prevent this:

Protect sensitive health care data for patients seeking reproductive health care in Maryland (HB 812/SB 786);

Protect patients, providers and support networks from criminal or civil liability imposed by other states (HB 808/SB 859);

Honestly, I don't care if you are a "legitimate" organization. If you're calling me with an automated message I can't skip immediately to get to a real person, I'm blocking your number.

"I never said that!"

Every rat-f***ing R who's been caught on camera saying exactly that.

Whelp, getting a new car dash camera today. Yesterday, I saw that the cam was just "dangling" and not securely in place. Turns out that the part where the suction cup connects to the mount bracket has deteriorated to the point that the bracket part no longer holds. Not able to fix it either. So it's get a new bracket, or finally replace.

"We can't afford to pay people fairly."

The whine of companies all reporting record profits and giving exec massive raises.

How to lose business:

1. Announce you are terminating auto-pay discounts for credit card customers.

2. Give BS excuse about "irresponsible CC users" as the reason.

3. Deny that debit cards are more likely to be denied due to low bank account balance.

4. Threaten my account when I call out your BS.

5. I terminate add-on services, now just on base service.

There, now you're making LESS money for your policy change because you couldn't give a valid reason for it.

Democrats increase funding to Veterans for health care.

Republicans vote to keep racist names on military bases.

Know the difference. Know who actually supports our troops.

Why is my work system telling me about a meetin....

Oh, yeah, Change of Command event today. Forced on my calendar.

*sigh*

Maybe I will watch anyway.

What's to stop these production studios from reaching out to streamers, especially those who use green-screen effects, to try to get them to work across the picket lines?

My work schedule has changed (again). I now work from home on Fridays. My brain is still trying to sort this out.

I stand with
I stand with
I stand with creators.

No stream this Saturday.

Someone said something and my brain went to this.
