The fact that we cannot save everything does not mean we cannot save anything and everything we can save is worth saving. You may need to grieve or scream or take time off, but you have a role no matter what, and right now good friends and good principles are worth gathering in. Remember what you love. I didn't sleep well. I woke up feeling awful. I didn't want to even try to function today.
But at work they are having a health and safety fair. I did the one mile walk. I have a healthy snack in me. I'm still not okay, but I am feeling more functional.
I am not holding back on my use of the block feature. If I see someone posting BS today, 🚫. Plain and simple.

But tomorrow, I will get up and fight on.
Not just for me, but for all the people who's lives are now at very real risk from these hateful fucks.
