TFG isn't "entitled" to have cameras in the courtroom. That's entirely up to the judge and the courts. Sure, he can ask for them. But the fact that in his brief he openly states again the very thing for which he's on trial should be the very reason it's denied.

I've said it before, but he intends to make it a circus, to undermine the legal process, and to rile up his base. Deny it.

@ArcturusSaDiablo

Agreed. Quit fueling the fire. Treat him like a normal person. Weigh the facts. Pass judgement accordingly.

@JustinTX
Except he's not a normal person. He's a former POTUS. You can't treat that like anything else. The courts MUST weigh the potential harm he can cause and his past deliberate misuse of the media. And yes, they can use his past behavior as a justification.

@ArcturusSaDiablo

Does the law somewhere state that celebs or politicians should be treated differently under the law than the rest of us?

If not, he's a just a human. A shitty, lying fucking scumbag. But, just another American that should be treated just like he's one of us. Because he is.

@JustinTX
Except there is precedence for allowing cameras in a trial like this. It's not that the law allows for preferential treatment.

And no, it's not that they should be. But if you don't already realize that's exactly how that works, you're not paying attention.

My statement was an opinion that it should be denied for the very reason he's saying he wants them there.

@ArcturusSaDiablo 'how it works'

I hope you have a good day. I guess we'll see how it plays out :)
