I have a five-year-old piano student who has buzzed through 2 primer books in two months. Very advanced for his age, pattern recognition & recall is exceptional. Playing with one hand is already boring for him. His older sisters also take lessons from me. We encountered our first sharp tonight, F#, & he was listening with great interest while I explained it and then exclaimed, wow, that's so cool. Lol.
