The deduction Alito appears to be drawing is that having an unwanted baby is no burden on a woman, because there's a huge market for neonates out there, and if she puts the child up for adoption it will get snatched right up.

Alito does not here consider the trauma of pregnancy and parturition itself; nor the various circumstances which might make adoption of any given child difficult....

@DavidSalo I can't think of a better example of forced-birthers seeing women as cattle than this. They see infants as a product, and us as a means of production. Nothing more.
