I have very clear memories from the year 2000 after the VP Debate, where pundits just about everywhere were saying that we should switch the roles and have the Presidential race be between Cheney and Lieberman.

It took a long while for us to realize that Lieberman was just as dangerous as Cheney, but we got there.

It's really the only thing I'm glad about from the 2000 election, that Joe Lieberman didn't become VP. He was a Vichy Democrat.
