Okay, the new Nickel Creek album is awfully damned good.
@northernbassist I think they've each grown in new directions. I really enjoyed this track especially:
I enjoyed Thile's work with the Punch Brothers, and Sara's solo record is great, and so's Sean's. I like their willingness to keep pushing the boundaries.
@Animeraider I don't know them. what is a favourite of yours?
@_Ms_J Everyone always falls back on two songs: The Smoothie Song and The Lighthouse. They're both great. You might have even heard one of them.
But their style has evolved a great deal from those days.

i was listening to that today. They're not bluegrass anymore, and this wasn't really newgrass, so is Nickel Creek a new acoustic group now?
