CoSo alert picked up an incident in Victoria, Aust. So why didn't it alert me to this then? -- A minor G1-class geomagnetic storm is in progress on May 5th as Earth enters a stream of fast-moving solar wind. The gaseous material is flowing from a wide hole in the sun's atmosphere. It is, in fact, so wide that Earth could be inside the stream for days to come.
@SheepOverboard Oh, sorry, I totally missed it. I saw an Alert for Canada once so thought it was possible. Windy here too.

@Anemone - actually I'm quite impressed J's included Aus. Not because it's Aus but 'technically.' If the world gets covered, the thing will constantly alert! Ah well.
