@TwistedWhim The road to data loss hell is paved with convenience 😉

@TwistedWhim As a retired 45-year IT professional, I am begging people, PLEASE do not use QR codes. They can be subverted to do truly evil things to your PC, laptop or mobile device. Never trust something that doesn't show you clearly in advance what it's going to do.

@matuzalem This will be an unpopular opinion, but the best way to win the next election (if any) will be to let Trump and MAGA Republicans fail uncontested, and make sure that they fail so utterly and completely that they're unable to pin the blame on Democrats or anyone else.

I know this will cause a lot of collateral damage on the left as well as the right, but I honestly can't see any other path forward at this point. Appealing to principles and common sense has certainly failed.

@matuzalem @Alfred Americans are poorly educated because, decades ago, television networks made the decision that their news operations should be profit centers rather than loss leaders or writeoffs. They transformed news into entertainment for ratings, prioritizing this above the dispassionate reporting of fact and truth.

The result is that a majority of Americans are now being entertained instead of being informed, without even realizing that they are being politically manipulated.

Many years ago, I was arguing with a fellow Napster user that IMO there were no "good" rap songs (conventional rap just isn't my bag). He disagreed with me, and cited this song as evidence. I listened, and my opinion was changed. (NOTE: Rap begins at 3:52)

A beautiful tribute to jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi by another jazz legend, Chick Corea: "The Great Pumpkin Waltz", from the compilation album "Happy Anniversary, Charlie Brown!"

A guaranteed way of getting Trump to do something is to tell him he can't do it.

You know, just like a 3-year-old.

Unfortunately he's also pretty good at digging other people's graves, too.

Don't blame me-- I voted for the prosecutor, not the convicted felon.

If there's one thing Donald Trump excels at, it's digging his own grave.

This is the darkest and most haunting rendition of "Love for Sale" that I've ever heard. Sung by Annie Ross, from her album "Annie Ross Sings a Handful of Songs".

If you thought Republicans in Congress did nothing productive for the last 8 years, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Trump's second presidency will be consumed with retribution and revenge.
