Hey, so for #writing research... Is anyone here a lumberjack or in the logging industry in North America? Or a wildlife person familiar with North American bears? Yes, this is romance book related.

Okay, so big question for those in the know. I see a lot of authors and bookstagrammers on Insta announcing they've switched to Hive as part of the exodus from Twitville. Is Hive even safe? I mean, I feel really at home here on #CoSo. I love it. If I did join Hive it would be to connect with other authors and readers I follow on Insta, as back-up in case Meta becomes more unbearable than they already are. I'm not too at ease on TikTok. The thing is I'm very skeptical about Hive. Thoughts?

Does anyone else recall when the Castaways on Gillian’s Island put on the musical version of Hamlet to the tune of Toreador from the Opera Carmen? That was some quality television. (Things that cross my mind when I should be sleeping.)

I spent the weekend of Halloween re-watching Twin Peaks for the umpteenth time. To me, it's evergreen darkness with a dada magical mystery tour on the side. It's beautiful chaos. Fun fact: As I worked on my last book, during the scenes at the Everlasting Springs police department, I was in the Twin Peak's sheriff's office in my head. I did finish that book and sent it to my publisher. It's coming out in November!
