Ukrainians in the streets of Kherson, smiling, hugging, celebrating the return of their city.

They have no running water, electricity, internet/phone communications. Still, I saw video of them, jubilant and triumphant, absolutely radiating sheer joy all around them.

Kinda makes me rethink priorities in my life— not abandon them, but a good rethink…

This is the hardest I've laughed all week.

Of all days. My team stepped up and helped prevent a Veteran Suicide today. And helped keep a Vet from staying in a tent during Tropical Storm Nicole.

This morning,the team wondered why we work on Veterans Day. Normally we never get any calls. Today.. it paid off we were there to answer the call.

So I asked the team this afternoon,
"Anyone wanna question why we work today?" No one spoke. Then I told them how proud I was for keeping up the good work today. This is why we do it.
