I suspect this dream came from the sudden appearance of this "Copilot" thing that just decided to occupy my Windows desktop.

Clippy becomes a chatbot. What could possibly go wrong?

I took a nap and had a dream. The most annoying acquaintance I know was running up my driveway, chattering about something, expecting everyone to immediately stop what they were doing to pay attention. But she was actually a robot, and she looked like Katherine Hepburn, in a black dress, pillbox hat and veil.

On entering my house, she got into a heated conversation with the smarthouse AI, named Charlie. (I don't have Alexa or Charlie or any other kind of AI but whatever.)

I have some email addresses that don't have spam filtering (I have an app to do it myself that has features like Regex filters that give me better control). But recently, the amount of spam is way down. That's usually an indication that the malware-infected computers being used to mail the spam are occupied doing DDoS attacks or other mischief.
