Good morning, all! I have been quiet here as my focus has been on activism on Twitter this week, with a primary goal of getting to call Congress in support of the bipartisan act to protect Mueller. Who knows if anyone actually made one call as a result, but I tried to make a lot of noise about it.

Then there was last night. 🧙‍♀️

@DachshundSaidSo

The magickal concept of a binding spell is to prevent the target from doing harm. A classic example of the was a group of British witches during WWII who cast a binding spell on Hitler, to try to keep him from invading England.

Our focus was to protect Mueller and allow the investigation to be completed.

@DachshundSaidSo

Christian Trump supporters are now praying on binding nights. 🧙‍♀️

@DachshundSaidSo

Someone gave me this explanation. Maybe this is accurate? The white evangelicals believe that Armageddon is coming. They believe an anti-Christ will bring about the end times.

They see their Trump as the anti-Christ that will trigger the return of Jesus to the world. But somehow they think they will pass judgment, which is also apparently part of this belief system.

I do not know if that is accurate, why they support someone so opposite of Jesus teaching.

@Myrth @DachshundSaidSo Some do believe that. There are a lot of theological gymnastics involved when you start with the conclusion "you should vote for Trump" and try to work backwards to make it make sense with Christianity. One of the most influential Christians, St. Paul, was a murderous son of a bitch until he was converted, so a lot of Christians are just willing to believe God converted Trump, too. Wait, guess not -- NOW he's converted Trump. Oh, my, oh, my -- NOW he's converted Trump ..

@AlphaCentauri @Myrth King Henry VIII wanted a divorce from Katherine of Aragon, in order to get in bed with Anne Bolyn, who wouldn't bed him until she was Queen, but the Holy See said "No divorce for you!" so Henry split from the Roman Catholic church and started the Church of England, and rewrote sections of the Bible to suit his purpose.
So, yeah, there's a book to take verbatim.
As far as the antiChrist being the Evangelical's trump, I agree that is a likely call. Rules apply only to others!

@DachshundSaidSo @Myrth @AlphaCentauri Yeah. That was the best thing ole Hank did; church "reformation". Otherwise, he was a right blood blister. Ih, and he sired a fine Virgin Queen, bride of England.

@USAPatriot Well he was "the spare" not "the heir", I think he had a bit of a chip on his shoulder even tho he ended up on the throne. He also fathered Mary, Queen of Scots, and made sure she and Elizabeth were at lifelong odds. Elizabeth did try to make amends with Mary but was rebuked, making Elizabeth's later decision much easier, no doubt. E.R. was a savvy ruler who knew she was safer as "Virgin Queen" married to England than following in mom's tragic footsteps.
