There's so much truth in this statement, especially here in the U.S. I'm in that post-menopausal group of women who have high risk of breast cancer and therefore wasn't offered HRT, was told to STOP doing high-impact activities (to save my knees), wasn't offered a DEXA scan until retirement, and now I have borderline osteoporosis and I'm PISSED.

If you're high risk for breast cancer but haven't actually HAD breast cancer, you can take raloxifene to prevent both problems.
