why is when you hear news about hackers, it's in favor of republican candidates and not democrats?
Penalties for Americans hacking American computers can be pretty draconian. But Russia, China, and Iran hire people to hack US computers. And their interest is in destabilizing the US and NATO, which is the MAGA brand.
@AlphaCentauri What I mean is, why is it when you hear about hacking election systems, it's always in favor of the Republican candidate. Don't the Dems have hackers?

The hackers aren't in the US. They operate from where they can do so without risk of punishment.
Enemy governments prefer to undermine Democrats.
