@Iveyjanette1 I'm not sure the black community is going to support a thief of city funds that could have gone into the community. If convicted he needs to do the time. Just like any other fraud.

They're gonna want to see the receipts, though, not just take the word of the DOJ. There are too many instances where a prominent Black person became an embodiment of "the nail that sticks up gets hammered down." They are statistically far more likely to be personally acquainted with someone who was arrested for something they didn't do, too.
@AlphaCentauri @JPSCHWEIZER63 Which is why they're rushing to defend him. Same thing the community did with Bill Cosby and R. Kelly,and to an extent with Diddy. Some are saying,they want Trump in jail first before Adams goes to jail. We'll see.
