Digging a garden teaches you a lot about life.

Usually what seems like a massive immovable rock when your spade first hits it is actually a lot of smaller rocks packed together. With patients and persistence, you can remove them, one at at time.

But sometimes it a big root of some tree that died of a disease your digging just scattered all over the place.

Life is like that sometimes, too.
