Just had my first disappointing experience on COSO. Took a long time to happen but just like the bird site. Called useless BS and a liar. That isn’t how we are building the community, is it? And of course, after posting that, the person blocks or protects their posts. Makes it hard to even know what they posted about. Going to have to rethink being here if this place is going to be like the other place.
@Bear7962 Give the site time, and learn to use Mute and Block to curate your own timeline. I do it all the time, if need be. Hang in and be patient!
@MisterE i have been here since 2017, but thx.my point being if this site is going to turn into that kind of post/poster being a regular feature there is no point being here if everyone has to be blocked. I am here to help create a community and conversation. An alternative. If all I do is post, having had to block multitudes with negative behavior, there is no point being here.Might as well just write a blog or diary.
If people behave that way to you (in all caps!), third persons reading it will block them as well. They will end up isolating themselves. It's not a site that screens users before they register and puts them on a waiting list, but despite waves of registrations of Twitter refugees who don't know the culture, things settle back down.
