There is no 2nd Motor Rifle Division in the current Russian army.
But there is a 2nd Guards Motor Rifle Division, in the 1st Guards Tank Army. Both of which are supposedly "elite" units, and both of which are/were in the Izium area after being rebuilt from the debacle at Kyiv.

That was an attempt by the only unit (11th Tank Regiment, 18th Guards Motor Rifle Division) combat ready and in range to reinforce what the Russians thought to be a strong point that could stem the Ukr advance.
It was not what the Russians thought, the Ukr was/is/are moving too fast for them.
11th Tank ran into a Ukr buzzsaw that knew they were coming and it disintegrated. Survivors abandoned their vehicles and joined the rout eastwards.
