When a spinning disk drive starts to go, you get warnings. You can even save data before they full fail. When an SSD goes, that's it. *poof* Bye bye data.

SSDs are for live work, HDDs are for backup / data storage. My PCs have SSDs, but my home NAS is all enterprise grade HDDs. I do not worry much about data loss.
