@Abyss1992 It was certainly disturbing. However, IMO much of the same goes on in corporate America right now. Skipping lunch, same with bathroom breaks, expectations of absolute allegiance regardless of days off, favoritism, sexual predatory behavior. Competent quality people mistreated for sport? All part of the making money dance. Certainly, more heinous for children but still quite wrong in adulthood as well.
