Today's drawing.

This is the Corobscura right ventricle chamber. There's a raking trap right past the one-way secret door, gray oozes, and gemstone treasure embedded in the walls. Room is airless and poisoned with gas. Northern passageway is also one-way out.

apparently, there is something called the challenge. design one room a day for a year to create a dungeon crawl with each month being a level. I'm tempted and then have my group run through it as I build. feels like a Mad Mage type scenario. Dungeons & Dragons

Room #2 of is complete. In all likelihood, there will be violence in this room. but a savvy party can find a way to avoid it. or they can just blunder in and start swinging.

Room #3 of features a soggy room. does someone have a light? meh. it won't matter. too humid for a good smoke of the pipeweed.

Dance until you cannot breathe.
Live a thunder life.

We were promised that
Herod would not win again.
Good escapes evil.

Herod's reign was disgraced by many acts of cruelty. Always fearful that someone would rise up and overthrow his kingdom, he systematically killed off anyone he regarded as a threat.

This haiku captures the feeling of speaking truth to power, even when it has large amounts of money and great structures arrayed against your interests as an individual human being.

Got a hot one on the cutting table!

Gift shirt based on a deconstructed Dickie's work shirt. It's a nice geometric rainbow pattern and I'm matching a pocket to the front right of the shirt right now. This will make the pocket vanish into the front of the shirt, which is a fun effect.

The No Signal dress, worn to the final Technological Advisory Council meeting of 2022.

It was an honor to represent on behalf of Open Research Institute on the AI/ML Working Group.

Fabric from Spoonflower, pattern Vintage Vogue, antique crystal buttons, and radio lining, also from Spoonflower.

"Extra fabric required for matching stripes or plaids"

Challenge accepted.

If you are interested in “sticking up for#amateurradio and at the FCC”, then you can make a positive difference in the US regulatory process. This is much more involved than filing a comment or complaining on social media. It is a significant commitment of time and effort.

Please get in touch and I will do all I can to support your application to groups like the FCC TAC. *You* can shape the future success of open source and the amateur radio services that we care so much about.

A special thanks to Marty Woll of YASME Foundation for his guidance and advice, and to ARRL counsel for coordinating and cooperating with ORI on a wide variety of issues we’ve taken to the FCC over the past year. ARRL is ably represented at FCC TAC by Greg Lapin.

Thank you to everyone that has supported ORI (link in my profile) participating at this level of US government. It’s been very successful.

Karen Rucker (ORI Secretary Emeritus) was instrumental in the application process, and I’d like to recognize her service to ORI and the FCC.

Paul Williamson, with experience on standards committees, has been invaluable in terms of providing advice for deliberations and decisions.

The work consisted of two meetings a week and a lot of time in between to prepare, organize speakers, and manage deliberative discussions.

The final meeting in DC summarizes work for the year and sets out an agenda for next year. This year was a very difficult “rebuilding” year for TAC, as it had been shut down at the beginning of COVID. I am honored to be a part of getting TAC back up and running.
