According to my Fitbit I must have literally passed out last night when I hit the pillow. I apparently slept an unheard of 9+ hours. 🙄

So, I wore a pair of black biker boots to work today--the kind with a heavy heel and metal speed lace hooks.

Very badass. You know, for reasons.

Well, I was standing at my desk attending a zoom meeting and crossed my legs.

The hooks and laces caught on each other and I had to stay that way until the meeting ended, holding onto my desk so I didn't topple over.

So next time you think someone's a badass, just consider they may be on the cusp of footwear disaster.

This is sooo not like me, but I have going through a girly phase. I recently tried eyelid tapes (they work!) eyebrow pen (it works!), leg hair buffer (amazingly works just like advertised), and just sent for a fancy foundation that I have high hopes about. Kids today have many great products to use, and younger me would have been so envious.

So the why-the-hell-does-anyone-respect-the NY Times has leaked phone details for Russian sources, effectively leading to “accidents” involving loss of life. This is a long-standing issue with them. Adrian Lamo got famous for accessing the NYT contact list data, as well as adding himself. Ridiculous.

After all this time, how can they STILL be so bad at this? God damn people- don’t start a land war in Asia, and don’t share your data with the NYT.

I'm going to recommend Castles & Crusades as a great, soon-to-be-OGL-free fantasy RPG. Pathfinder is great too, but AD&D 1e is where my heart lies. C&C is a great d20 modernization of 1e.

It may take 4 to 9 months for the 10th printing to ready to ship, but it will be worth it, imho.
