Called Walmart about their treatment of disabled customers at our local store.

The chirpy person on the phone explained that there are no District managers, and that they have no way to communicate with the stores except to ask the manager to call me.

I said we've been playing that for 2 years now, and that manager does not call back - they make an employee call to apologize that they won't come to the phone.

They said to write a letter to corporate.

Got a call back from some poor beleaguered person from the wrong department who redirected me to the ADA Coordinator's office. Left message, and supposedly will get a call back. We'll see how that goes.

@AskTheDevil any chance you can drop Walmart like a hot stone since they suck at this?

@AI78 My quest for justice is already occurring in an environment where Walmart and a couple of equally-vile giant companies have driven allllllllll the other places I could shop at out of business.

If I stop shopping at Walmart, it'll be hard to get food and other needs met, because there's not much choice where I can get to physically.

Apparently, fuck antitrust law, but maybe they can get them to follow some minor ADA rules?

@AskTheDevil coming in and discounting things to such a degree until all competition is driven out is a tried and true method they use.
