@PR4UK Agreed. However, we have to take on each injustice as it comes along. Gays and lesbians gained acceptance and rights, such as marriage, simply by being visibile. As we came out, people discovered that we were part of their community, their family.

For me, supporting transgender rights is consistent with the first amendment right to freedom of expression.

@PR4UK I see the tweet as a plea to allies to have these discussions with family/friends.
A long-time friend recently regurgitated what he saw on fox, about drag queen story hour grooming children and transwomen taking over sports. I askes him to back up his claims. Does he think drag queens are sexual? Is there really an epidemic of transwomen competing in sports? That kind of thing.
The more we bring truth out into the open, the easier it will be for people to see out humanity.
Just a thought.
