I hate posting this shit.
Oh. The word "shit" offends you? Too bad.
Peoples lives are in danger.
#Antisemitism has zero place in this world. If you ignore it, you are accepting it. Silence is complicity.
Talk to your family, friends, neighbors, anyone in your social circles. Let them know that hate is unacceptable.
@Helveticus I posted about a group of whote supremacists threatening to descend upon Jewish places of worship. What does that have to do with pronouns?
And why does someone's pronouns offend you?
There is a difference between sex and gender.
If you can't care enough to learn about, and respect, someone's gender identity, yes, you are being hateful. Transgender and gender nonconforming people are under attack. Whenever you deny their identity, you are denying their humanity. Plain and simple.
@Helveticus I'm guessing you don't care.
I mean, you replied to a post about antisemitism with a complaint about pronouns. By doing so, you swept antisemitism under the rug so you can cast aspersions at #transgender people. Why? What caused you to see my post about #antisemitism and want to play the victim? Are you a white supremacist? Are you an antisemite? Maybe you're a transphobe who thought maybe I would feel the same.
I DON'T feel the same!
@Helveticus I fullt support my trans brothers & sisters and am prepared to defend every one of them in any way I can. That goes for my Jewish friends as well. There is no room for hate on my feed.
#TransRightsAreHumanRights
@Helveticus Again. Why is it so important for you, and people like you, to take away a person's humanity?
You don't have to like LGBTQIA+ people. No one is forcing you to invite us into your home. All we want is to be left to live our lives without the constant hassle & persecution.
LGBTQIA+ youth are twice as likely to attempt suicide because of attitudes like yours. How does it make you feel to know you are contributing to the environment that makes children want to take their own lives?
