I went with the lighter grout, but epoxy so less maintenance (which is good cuz I’m a disaster and will drop everything).

I’m less worried about the marble floor because I have 2x10’s AND plywood subfloor.

Today looks much the same (I’ll take a pic in a bit), as they were mostly working on plumbing - hence no water).

Backer board and shower inset worked on tho.

I also found a peice of the faucet I… err… mislaid. 😳

^ sorry, meant to post these earlier, but I got distracted .

Walls, and floors, and plumbing, oh my!

^ every time I tell my contractor a decision he looks at me like “are you *sure* that’s how you want to do it? 😅

Anyway, this is my inspo and because the tile is wavy he doesn’t like tiny grout lines.

@evamarie I will be soooo happy to have a functioning bathroom again

@ACG2 @evamarie lol I’m actually *really close to that.

Size allowing, of course.
And tile is only in bath area.
And we’ll see how it actually turns out.

@evamarie @ACG2 always.

Just wait til we get to insulation.
Can’t WAIT for those pics 🤪
