I'm looking for Behaviour Mentor type jobs at the moment, via recruitment agencies. Nearly all are in schools and require a degree in Psychology. Seems a bit counterproductive, tbh - I've worked for decades in youth and community work and, or of all the people who stand out as being particularly effective at changing young people's behaviour, very few were graduates.

Not to do down academia at all, but there are a lot of other factors involved, not just formal qualifications.
