Random tip - if you don't already perform "defensive calendaring" I highly recommend it.

If you don't know what that is - block time on your calendar, just like you would for a meeting, but use that time to get tasks done.

Also helpful for making sure you don't have people try to schedule meetings when you aren't at your best, like first thing in the morning.
