My grandmother loved Groundhog Day. I mean LOVED it. She sent flowers to everyone in the family and threw a party for all her friends and neighbors.
She chose Groundhog Day because "it's a holiday that doesn't get enough love" and "we all need some joy between Christmas and Easter."
She passed away in 2003. I still buy flowers every Groundhog Day.
Dozing off, secure in the knowledge that her whiskers are fabulous 🌟
