It's Friday afternoon.
30 minutes before quitting time.
I just discovered that after 95% of the work has been done on this project, I made a bad call and have 2 incompatible libraries.
I now have to rearchitect this from the ground up again.
What do I do?
@0x56 There's no way you're going to do your best work in a panic at the end of the week, after you're already at the end of a weekday and the work-week.
Take a break, clear your head, most likely your new architectural solution will take shape in your head, unbidden, and you'll be able to work on it fresh when you're recuperated. You'll get it done _way_ faster with less error that way.
@0x56 Don't be the Crowdstrike person.
@0x56 when is the deadline? How much work I involved? Currently learning towards start again on Monday
@0x56 Yes that sucks, but if you can afford the time, take a break and come at it fresh. Remember, it always goes faster the second time anyway.
@0x56 B+C+D
@0x56 Knock off early, AFTER making some notes about what is next.

proposal: some combination of all of the above to bitterly invoke the Ballmer peak
