@0x56 Passover isn't a gift giving holiday, but there are some traditions which are close enough. A specific piece of matzoh, called the afikomen, designated at the beginning of the Seder, is sometimes hidden by the adults for the children to find or vice versa. The service can't end without the afikomen. The piece is ransomed in some way which ends up with the kids getting swag. I've never seen grown up jewelry as the ransom, though, and I don't think I've ever seen adults receive the ransom.
