Overhearing somebody pronounce GUID as "quid", with the Q, and it's making my skin crawl.
@stueytheround - I've always pronounced it as goo-id, spelled out it also acceptable.
I say βGee-Ewe-Eye-Dee.β

@Bulico - that's how I say it in the MS world. "You you eye dee" in the nix world.
