On CounterSocial, who you follow and who follows you is absolutely meaningless.
You read that right. Meaningless.
We have no algorithm. Follow who you want, or don't. There's no drama about this because again, we have no algorithm, and curating your own experience is how it's done here.

It's important to you.
Who you follow determines what you've determined is important for you to pay attention to, just as much as who you've muted or blocked
That being said: large follow counts, imo, means a lot of noise, but that's just me.
And followers means squat.
We are different here. We are an oasis here. Here, we are people, not a means to an end.
@0x56 @CoSoTips I agree! Unlike twitter, a large following here is actually kind of a detriment. Way too much to keep up with. I’ve got an awesome group of people I follow here and am content with my small following. I never reject anyone that follows me but don’t actively seek to build my account. I love it here.
