It's those type of hacks which prevent me from plugging my phone directly into a clock or USB charging port at a hotel. I ALWAYS use my own plug in charger and cable.

@0x56 I don't even trust the ones I buy online. The problem is you can't open up the connectors and look at the construction. For serious work, build your own. 👍
