sorry, I'm trying to practice not using Google Translate, but I still use it when I want to think of a proper sentence...
I hope that by interacting with people on CoSo, I can improve my English
I wonder if it's rare to find a Japanese person who understands English...
@finkled It's okay, I basically interact in English, so you can treat me the same as everyone else.
If you want to know something in Japanese, feel free to ask me anytime.

Many Japanese people I meet online speak excellent English, and for those who don't a bit of patience and a translator suffices.
I'm glad you chose to return and I look forward to you sharing your art. Maybe you can teach us a bit of Japanese too!
π
@ceorl Thanks again for the warm re-welcome!
I'm not making art for profit anymore so I can move fast lol
I'm doing this as a hobby now
But that's why I want to communicate without using a translator as much as possible...
But yeah, maybe I could teach someone Japanese!π§Έ
@yueplush I work with a large number of English-speaking Japanese people, and a large number of non-Japanese people who know Japanese.
I can read "san", and the kanjii for tree π
Welcome!
@kaehlys Ah, good to hear that. I'm back again. γγ γγΎοΌπ§Έ
Not as rare as you might think. For example, former Nemophila guitarist Saki studied English at university and speaks it quite well. When we have Twitter conversations, they are always in English. Same with Seikima-II guitarist Takashi O'Hashi. His English is also very good. Tomoyasu Hotei lives in the UK now, and there are others as well whose English is good.
@yueplush Not that rare! Sorry our language is so confusing and messy, and I applaud you for learning another language!
@yueplush I hope it helps! I only know a bit of Japanese and cannot read anything written in it (besides friendship and tree)
