@BrentSullivan This article provides good perspective. It mentions the loss of albedo (reflectivity of the Earth that can reflect heat energy to space rather than absorbing it and re-emitting it as infrared energy), but be aware that there are a half dozen or so other critical tipping points that we are on the verge of crossing, any one of which could be catastrophic. Stop burning hydrocarbons folks or your descendants will live in a hellscape!
