@peeppeepcircus The thing is... 2023 wasn't <b>just</b> the hottest on record! The jump from 2022 to 2023 was as big a jump as 10 years of warming progress. So warming is accelerating, and scientists were not expecting that big of a jump. This is terrifying, because we are now walking the knife's edge of hell-on-Earth. Look at the gap between 2022 and all other years in the last century!
