@MarniDarr It is complicated. Biden either needs to approve drilling projects or approve mining projects. Society will collapse if neither happen. There will be no solar, wind or geothermal without minerals. So no matter what happens, pure (and naive) environmentalists will be outraged. Oil is no longer seen as the future, but as a crutch to support growth until an electrified economy is in place. If you want to be impactful, rage against the declination to approve many mining proposals!
@wyrmeboi It isn't that he's extracting oil, it's that it's *new* oil. We have enough of a supply of existing wells to keep ourselves in oil for a looong time. We do NOT need to ruin more public lands just because we can. It's all about greed. That is what we need to combat. The problem of corporate greed and men needing to be in control of everything and everyone. That ideology is getting us all killed.
