The above is what I usually share and comment on with a lot of Sufi-Bhakti poetry mixed with other religious traditions as well.
Am I religious? What is my religion?
My religion is that where all humanity is seen as the One. I bow with that religion and sect to the Omnipresent.
I have no enemies. I'm a friend to all. I'm on the side of the oppressed.
If any of the above annoys you, then better not follow.
Upon that cosmic plate of the sky, the sun and the moon are the lamps. The stars and their orbs are the studded pearls.
The fragrance of sandalwood in the air is the temple incense, and the wind is the fan. All the plants of the world are the altar flowers in offering to You, O Luminous Lord.

Some keep the Sabbath going to Church, I keep it staying at home.

The first picture showed the Blue Mosque. Here are a few pictures of the Hagia Sophia and the last picture is just the general area.
The connecting flight was canceled probably due to the war in Ukraine so I needed to spend a night in Istanbul.
I took a taxi and quickly visited the area around Hagia Sophia & the Blue Mosque.
The queue to go indoors was massive & I also felt that I didn't need to go inside. I've also contemplated so much alone on my nearby tiny island that this mass of people didn't feel inviting.
Still, it was a very lovely looking area for anyone like me who absolutely loves history!

I sometimes wonder that if you want to show compassion, what can you eat & drink or even watch on TV.
At least 6500 people died in slave labor just so that we could have soccer matches!
And then someone comes and says that those persons should be proud of their work!

You can’t ban abortions, you can only ban SAFE abortions.
If you go and ban birth-control methods and abortion, you should at the same time guarantee that every child has access to loving people to take care of them, a healthy diet, water, shelter, school, health care, opportunities in life, hobbies, safe environment to live and the list just goes on and on and on.
People taking care of the children also need so much, like jobs and jobs that pay more than minimum wage.
Haven't seen an extensive proposal to provide everything needed.

GOP has already expressed a desire to end interracial marriage, gay marriage and birth control. This is only the beginning if we do not FIGHT.

Many religions allowed meat-eating. Animals were valued & cared for.
Some forbid meat & placed emphasis on dairy products as the giver of life.
What once was valued & cared for is now mass slaughtered in factories on an industrial scale without compassion.
The dairy industry doesn't have compassion either.
I often wonder if the Saints, Gurus, Messengers & Prophets who back then allowed meat-eating & dairy products would today preach #vegan due to the total lack of compassion towards animals.
In various costumes,
like actors,
they appear.
As it pleases God,
they dance.
Whatever pleases Him,
comes to pass.
O Nanak,
there is no other at all.
The light of spiritual wisdom dawns within. That place does not perish.
As water comes to blend with water, his light blends into the Light.
