My Cape Sundew is now a Lake Monster plant! My sisters-in-law gave the fish pot to me for Christmas, and I knew it would be for the Cape Sundew when it was time to clean her up and repot her. A fish with carnivorous tentacles! 🥰
@weirdfizz I've wanted to grow a sundew for so long... would be an indoor plant where I am though.
@sentientdessert Mine stays indoors. I probably could put her outside for most of the year where we are now, but spending half the year inside was an absolute necessity where we lived before. So she's used to it. I keep her in a good window and use a plant light to help with that in the winter. A gallon of distilled water lasts me a couple of months for watering. We have good local water, but I use distilled just for this plant.
