My book made it back to me! I did this several years ago for the Brooklyn Art Library's Sketchbook Project. Sadly, they have to close. But I was able to get my book sent back to me! It survived a fire at the library, I've moved to a different state than where I lived when I did it, and now we're together again. Praise Lake Monster!

@weirdfizz Blood and souls for Duke Arioch!
Yes, wrong series, I know ... but I always preferred Moorcock to Lovecraft, lol.
@XaoslordErie I've seen his name mentioned many times over the years, but never read his work. Do you have any suggestions for where to start?
For Moorcock, I would begin with the 'Corum of the Silver Hand' series, as it's the shortest, while the 'Dancers at the End of Time' series is longer and more convoluted. Longest and most convoluted of all, though, are the 'Elric of Melnibone' books, of which there are quite a few, Elric being a classic tragic hero - and eternally damned, much like Corum. There are also several one-off books and collections as well. Check your local library before spending the cash, though.
Oh, I should also mention that Deep Purple's song, 'Stormbringer', was written about Elric's demon sword of the same name.
The whole book goes through each letter of the alphabet, and those are actual comments I wrote on each page. You just need to recognize the cypher I used.
