@XaoslordErie That is often VERY true! I've seen people be corrected, but if they don't accept the correction there's a lot of, "Whatever. Let 'em be wrong. They'll learn."
A truth people don't want to hear, though? They will FIGHT that!

Yep, seems to work exactly that way, and they will fight you tooth and nail to shut you up when you speak something irrefutably true. You're quite right.
