Some days people really go hard with not actually listening, just hearing enough that they feel comfortable assuming they know what I'm saying.
I'm going to stop correcting things one day and just let them make their lives harder for a while.
@TheComicHunter Yeah, my memory is near perfect for biographical recall. (That's what the doctor said.) So I can still tell you what I wore to school on the last day of third grade. But give me instructions with more than 2 steps? Hold on. I gotta write this down.
And that confuses people. "But you remember everything!" Nope. Only a certain type of things.
@weirdfizz What boggles my mind is when I'm explaining a sequence of actions that need to be done in order, and the person I'm talking to does not write it down.
Our memories are not as awesome as we think they are.
