@Ch00ch00 Every doctor I saw for over 10 years couldn't understand my weight when we tracked eating and activity, so they kept having my thyroid tested even though it always came back normal. When we found out about my PTSD and PCOS, my OBGYN told me the PCOS was because of my weight and that I must be lying about food and activity.

Swear to god, why are doctors like that..... Weight gain is a symptom of pcos not a cause ..... Smfh....

@ravesquirrel @Ch00ch00 The next OBGYN I saw told me that, thankfully! Also explained to me how my previously unrecognized PTSD could have contributed to weight with all the chemical things that happen in the body when it feels like you're always in danger. I stopped blaming myself after she told me that.
