Do you think people are starting to connect the dots with all these extreme natural disasters and understand that mitigating climate change (as best we can in this limited time window) is a serious priority?

@peeppeepcircus Even more, some coldly calculating capitalists may realize, as in home maintenance and auto repair, it's usually a lot less expensive to prevent something than to fix it afterwards.
@walterbays wondering how bad it has to get before it finally "makes sense" in that cold way, and if by then our window to do anything meaningful about it will already be closed for good.
