I try to avoid that cesspit known as Nextdoor, but during Hurricane Beryl I used my husband's account to try to find neighborhood info about clean up.

People were discussing how to "trick" their energy efficient washing machines into using more water, convinced that is why their clothes "weren't clean".

Prob hard water, use of too much detergent, and fabric softener choices were the actual problem, but I could tell they were more convinced by whatever Trump was rambling about.
